About the Event
Registration is now open for the 2024 Branch Leadership Conference. The Branch Leadership Conference will focus on "Destination: Success | Accelerate Your Journey" with your peers, our partners, and the staff at the Franchise Support Center.
We are excited to welcome some wonderful guest speakers to this year’s conference. We will hear from our Founder/Executive Chairwoman, Shelly Sun on the State of the Brand and our keynote speaker Phil Hansen. It’s hard to imagine that his artist journey nearly came to an end when a tremor developed in his drawing hand. Phil’s powerful message of finding creativity within limitations will inspire you to stop looking on the outside and start looking inside for resources that can transform challenges into opportunities for success. And like Phil’s art, “Embrace the Shake” isn’t just a talk, it’s an experience that brings jaw-dropping visuals and live interactive art.

1. Is this conference mandatory?
Yes, Attendance at Branch Leadership Conference by at least one key role (or owners in a key role) per territory is mandatory for BrightStar Care (max of 5). Franchisees that do not meet this requirement will be charged a Notice of Default at the single registration fee of $1,000. If you have questions, please contact your Field Support Coach.
2. What is the dress code?
The dress code at Branch Leadership Conference is business casual. Please keep in mind, meeting spaces tend to be cooler than what some consider comfortable, a light sweater or jacket would be recommended.
3. What should I wear to the Awards Gala?
The Awards Gala and dinner is a semi-formal event. A cocktail dress/suit is appropriate.
4. What is included in my registration fee?
Conference curriculum, social activities that are scheduled as part of the event, and all meals from Tuesday evening through Thursday. Your hotel room is NOT included in the registration fee.
5. How do I book my hotel reservation?
New this conference, BrightStar Care will book your hotel reservation based upon the information you completed in your registration.The Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina will email your hotel confirmation.If you need to adjust your hotel reservation, please email us at conference@brightstarcare.com.
6. What days / times should I plan my arrival and departure for the conference?
Please reference the conference agenda prior to making your travel arrangements.
7. Will you be able to accommodate my dietary needs?
Yes, at the time of registration you will be able to indicate your dietary restrictions.
8. What will the weather be like in San Diego, California?
Though we can’t guarantee the weather outlook, the average temperatures for April are highs in the low 70's and lows in the high 60's.
9. Am I allowed to bring guests to the social functions during the conference, even if I am willing to pay an extra fee for their attendance?
All conference events (general sessions, breakout sessions, meals, welcome receptions, and the awards gala) are for registered conference attendees only.
10. What is your Cancellation Policy?
Cancellations between 3/13/2024-4/9/24 at 11:59pm will result in a 100% refund of your total registration fee.
Cancellations after 4/9/2024 at 11:59 pm will result in a 0% refund of your total registration fee.

We are excited to implement a new registration process. BrightStar Support Center will book your hotel accommodation and pay for your hotel rooms. If you would like to pay for your hotel accommodation, please let us know through the registration comment section or email us at conference@brightstarcare.com. The registration fee and now hotel room costs (excluding incidentals), will be debited from your account no later than 30 days post-conference.
If your owner would like to pre-pay for your hotel accommodation, please email SSDGroupHousing@sheratonsandiegohotel.com and a digital credit card authorization form can be filled out by email. Please provide the name(s) of the attendee(s) staying in the room.

Complimentary Airport Shuttle
Complimentary airport shuttle service to and from San Diego International airport runs daily every 30-40 minutes from 4:45 AM – 12:00 AM. Confirm next available time with the front desk. If you’re driving, self-parking is available ($47 per night).
